1. Become a Work Weekend volunteer
So much important work is accomplished on these weekends. From painting, brush-clearing, cleaning, waterfront preparations, to meal preparation . . . there is a job for everyone!
Meals/accommodation are provided. Come for a day or the full weekend. This is a great way for your teen to get volunteer hours.
See the Special Events link for upcoming dates.
2. Attend Ryde’s fundraising events: the Fall Open House/Hike-a-thon and the Annual Fundraiser Dinner/Silent Auction in November
3. Donate an item for the Silent Auction - the success of the auction depends on the treasures donated!
Some suggestions . . . a favorite home-baked item, home-made preserves, a craft, a re-gifted item. Or do you have a connection to a business or service that could donate an item?
4. Consider a financial donation to either the General Fund or the Ryde Lake Camp Endowment Fund. Donations are an essential part of Ryde’s well-being! You can donate directly to Ryde by sending a cheque to the camp office. Cheques should be made out to: Ryde Lake Camp. Or an online donation may be made by clicking on the CanadaHelps.org link below.
